Instruction for use:
1. Purchase a colour chart, selecting a fabric that is suitable for your project as printed colours look different on each basecloth.

2. Download the digital colour chart (here) and save it in a safe place on your computer. You can then access the digital colour chart in either Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. The colour profile for the colour chart is ‘Adobe RGB1998’ For an accurate colour match it is important to assign this colour profile to your digital artwork. To use the colour chart:

-In Adobe Photoshop
Open the ‘Swatches Palette’ via the ‘Window’ menu. In the drop down menu (top right-hand corner of ‘Swatches Palette’) select ‘Load Swatches...’. A dialogue box will appear, find the downloaded file (here). You may have to change the file type option to ‘Swatch Exchange (*.ASE)’ in the drop down menu next to the file name field to make the file visible. Select the file and click ‘Load’. Our selection of colours will appear in the ‘Swatches Palette’, these colours directly correlate to the printed fabric chart colours and codes.

-In Adobe Illustrator
Open the ‘Swatches Palette’ via the ‘Window’ menu. In the drop down menu (top right-hand corner of ‘Swatches Palette’) select ‘Open Swatch Library’ then ‘Other Library...’. A dialogue box will appear, select the file and click ‘Open’. Our selection of colours will appear in a ‘Swatches Palette’, these colours directly correlate to the printed fabric chart colours and codes.

Please note that some colours will look quite different from the printed colour chart to on-screen, you can trust that they will print as they look on the fabric colour chart.
